True North Marine’s Shipyard can accommodate boats of all kinds. From power to sailboats, we have a space for you! We offer a fully enclosed and secure facility to protect your investment. Our shipyard features a 75 metric ton Marine TraveLift to accommodate large boats up to 155k lbs.
We can haul up to
75‘ in length, 21.5’ in beam and 7’ of draft

THE TNM SHIPYARD EXPERIENCE

If you haul out again for any reason at our Shipyard within 30 days of your Quick Haul, we will discount your Haul, Block, and Launch fees by 50%! This might be for a future bottom job, running gear, thru-hull, or any other type of maintenance or repairs.

Saturday Quick Hauls are available! When your schedule doesn’t allow for typical 8-5 M-F trips to Clear Lake, but you would really like to transport the boat yourself or see it out of the water, we will accommodate your availability.

We can haul Sailboats up to 50+ feet bow in. No need to do that tricky stern-in maneuver!

We typically have a breeze out of the south, right on the nose as you approach our haul out slip – no annoying crosswind to contend with…

Always plenty of hands to catch you when you arrive. There is always safety in numbers!

Complimentary refreshments on hand to keep you hydrated

We install Aluminum anodes (not Zinc). These are the best choice to protect your very expensive underwater metals if your boat lives in the brackish waters of Clear Lake or anywhere on Galveston Bay (including HYC or Pelican Rest).

We provide pictures of your Quick Haul that are archived for future use. Accessible anytime! Very useful for your viewing pleasure, or later when trying to locate a thru-hull, transducer, or demonstrate your maintenance history to a prospective buyer!

We can transport your boat to and from our facility for a full turn-key service. You also get pictures of how your boat was tied off and secured.

While out of the water, we can measure your depth transducer installation height, as well as the actual depth of your keel (or lowest part of your running gear) so depth instruments can be programmed with correct offsets. Of course we have a soggy, mucky bottom, should you happen to run aground. However, a well calibrated depth instrument will keep you out of trouble and save you some embarrassment!
